Kathryn Cunningham, an educational researcher and faculty developer, became an Associate Director for CTLE at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in January, 2014. She has a master’s degree in Instructional Systems Design and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Her personal research interest focuses on investigating faculty identity in higher education institutions, particularly full-time faculty who are not on a tenure-track. Kathryn stays busy collaborating on pedagogical research projects, designing workshops, teaching courses, and providing mid-semester feedback. Her most recent contribution to the CTLE mission is to oversee the SoTL (Scholarship of Teaching and Learning) Program so she could support faculty efforts to produce publishable SoTL research.
