Innovations in Teaching and Learning: Mobile Learning

Students using Mobile DevicesWednesday, April 8th from 9:30-11:30am in the College of Engineering atrium, CTLE will be hosting a poster session celebrating Mobile Learning as part of Innovations in Teaching and Learning Week.

Several faculty members will be sharing their experiences incorporating mobile learning into their courses, such as cell phones, tablets, and laptops.  Dr. Lulu Sun and several others have been using the Poll Everywhere classroom response system in their course to instantly collect feedback from their students.  Dr. Richard Stansbury has been teaching computer science courses in which students learn how to develop Android apps.

There will also be a “Canvas Corner” in which visitors can speak with a faculty member who has used the Canvas learning management system, which Embry-Riddle is in the process of switching to.
